How to read this chart

Enrichment bubble plot

Each row is a pathway or gene set. The x-axis is the gene ratio (hits / denominator; depending on the software the denominator is the input list size or the gene-set size, so check your result table).

Larger bubbles mean more genes hit; darker colours mean smaller adjusted P values (more significant).

By default the top N terms by adjusted P are shown. A high ratio in a very small gene set may rest on only two or three genes, so read bubble size alongside position.

Enrichment depends on the background set and the input list; results from different databases or database versions are not directly comparable.
