Functional enrichment / Enrichment bar chart
Your data stays in your browser: files are read and processed on your device, never uploaded to any server, and cleared when you close the page. Free, no sign-in.
Each bar is an enriched term; by default its length is −log10 P (longer = more significant), or choose gene count or gene ratio instead.
If your table has a category column (e.g. GO BP / CC / MF, or the source database), bars are coloured and grouped by category; tick “Top N within each category” so every category is represented.
The chart does not recompute enrichment; it shows the values in your table. Terms with P = 0 are drawn at one tenth of the smallest non-zero P.
Adjusted P values (padj / FDR) are recommended; the dashed reference line is drawn at P = 0.05 by default.
Bar length = −log10(P) (or gene count, or gene ratio with “k/n” converted to k ÷ n). Example GO data: Gene Ontology Consortium (2023) Genetics 224:iyad031, GOA human annotation (CC BY 4.0).
Send us your data and research question and you will receive a written plan within 1 working day: analysis steps, parameter rationale, deliverables and timeline. Quoted per project.
