State the question, data, budget range, timeline and roles needed (single-cell, population genetics, visualisation and so on). We turn it into a written plan with milestones.

Milestone acceptance

Delivered in stages (by default an interim result and the final delivery). Our experts check each stage, you accept it, and that stage is paid.

Contribution and payment

Within a team, contribution is assessed on five dimensions: tasks completed, deliverables, time, peer review and blockers resolved, and payment is split in proportion. The breakdown is visible to the team; the platform may only make small adjustments, with written reasons.

Settled
  • No padding: daily time is capped, duplicate logs are not counted twice, and unusually large code submissions get a separate review
  • On time: late stages are reduced per day, up to a set limit
  • Disputes: either side can raise one; payment pauses and a platform expert not involved in the project reviews and decides
  • Missing peer reviews are never filled with a default score; the other dimensions are re-weighted instead
  • Data and results stay inside the platform environment, and results belong to the requester

FAQ

About the four modes

Are all four modes available now?
Done-for-you analysis is live in the client portal. Self-service, training and the marketplace are opening in stages: apply and we will contact you to confirm your needs and set up access.
Does AI decide the conclusions?
No. AI structures requests, drafts code and text, flags anomalies and answers questions. In done-for-you and marketplace projects, experts review the conclusions before delivery; in self-service, the conclusions are yours.
How is data kept safe?
Data is used only for your project and only you and the members you invite can see project files. Network experts can work on data only inside the platform environment. Raw human sequencing data is not uploaded to this platform; provide de-identified result files or public accessions, or contact us to arrange otherwise.
How is it charged?
Done-for-you and marketplace work is quoted per project; self-service by resources and time; training by content and time. Details are set out in the plan.
Can modes be combined?
Yes. For example, done-for-you analysis for a paper followed by training for a student, or an expert taking over one step of a self-service project.
