General plots / Line chart

Each line is one value column (or one group in a long table) plotted against the chosen x column. A numeric x-axis uses true spacing; a categorical one is evenly spaced in the order the values appear.
When an x value has several rows, the line shows the mean and the translucent band the SD, SE or 95% confidence interval (mean ± t × SE); say which in your legend.
Hover a point to read its value; the downloadable summary lists n, mean, SD, SE and band limits for every point.
A line implies continuous change between neighbouring points; when the x categories are unrelated, a bar or dot chart is more appropriate.
SD and SE use the sample standard deviation (n − 1); 95% CI = mean ± t(0.975, n − 1) × SE.
Up to 30 lines.
