General plots / Lollipop chart

Each stick runs from the baseline (0 by default) to the item’s value, with a dot marking the value; it uses less ink than a bar chart and stays clear with many items.
By default items are sorted from largest to smallest and coloured by whether they lie above or below the baseline, which suits signed measures such as log2 fold changes, scores or correlations.
With many items, “Show the N largest |values|” keeps the most important ones; you can also colour by a group column (e.g. pathway category).
The chart shows magnitude only, not significance; to show P values as well, encode them in a group or use a bubble chart.
Values are plotted as given; no statistics are computed.
Up to 200 items are shown.
