Your data stays in your browser: files are read and processed on your device, never uploaded to any server, and cleared when you close the page. Free, no sign-in.
Sequences with a length between the minimum and maximum (inclusive) are kept; a maximum of 0 means no upper limit.
You can also filter on the proportion of N bases (e.g. drop sequences with more than 5% N). Alignment gaps are not counted towards length by default.
The histogram overlays kept and removed sequences in two colours so you can judge the thresholds; the decision table lists each sequence’s length, N proportion and reason for removal.
Tick “Output the sequences that fail the filter” to obtain the removed set for checking.
Length is the number of characters (gaps excluded by default); N proportion = number of N / length.
Runs in your browser; up to roughly 100 MB of sequence is recommended.
